David was a professional actor for many years and still retains his Equity card should a call to the boards be issued! He has spent the greater part of his working life in education both in teaching and, reciprocally, learning from his students. He was, until recently, Head of Drama in a leading independent school. Having taught GCSE Drama and A level Theatre Studies in an all girl school he is well acquainted with the perennial problem of finding a play to suit, consequently he has had to write pieces of theatre to satisfy that need. Now he is devoting more time to writing plays and is in the process of producing scripts of the Dramas he has put on over the years. Musicals and music theatre also form part of his repertoire and have been published in collaboration with colleagues. He lives and works in Colchester, Essex with his wonderful wife and two multi-talented daughters.
