Two Diaries of a Pilgrimage

Synopsis:
In 1890 the celebrated author Jerome K Jerome, already famous for his book Three Men in a Boat, went to Oberammergau to see the Passion Play. In 2000 a lady and her husband went there to see the very special production to celebrate the Millennium. They travelled by car, aeroplane and bus to get there. Was it any easier than Jerome's journey? It was certainly quicker but perhaps no more comfortable.
