Synopsis:
When rebellious 15-year-old Bethany Gallagher wears a scandalously short skirt to school, she does more than violate the dress code. She diverts attention from how her older brother Del has wrecked his life, and she draws attention from two young teachers - one who might end up taking advantage of her, and another who fears she may try to take advantage of him.
Notes:
Developed at the Playwrights Center in Minneapolis, Skirt was a co-runner-up for the David Mark Cohen Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
