Mary Bell, Mary Bell

Synopsis:
about the killing of two young boys in 1968 by the ten-year-old Mary Bell won't seem at all contentious. Mary scarcely knew right from wrong, death from playacting, and her crimes stemmed from a destructive home life of which the judicial system that convicted her took insufficient account. It's hardly the stuff of the 'controversy' to which the production lays claim; until one remembers that as recently as last year, the European Court of Human Rights censured the 1993 trial of the child killers of Jamie Bulger; killers whose own victim status remains clouded in tabloid-stoked talk of 'innate evil'and 'rotting in jail'.

This took as its premise the idea that if an infinite number of monkeys were placed in front of an infinite number of PCs they would produce the works of Shakespeare. We see an inspector visiting a strange institute where this experiment is actually taking place

It Attracts top local Actors And writers, many of whom have cut their writing teeth in television And, in particular, in soap operas.
