Wolf Who Was a Vegetarian, The and Other Slightly Bizarre Stories

Synopsis:
A lively troupe of actors prepares to enact a half-dozen familiar tales, promising to put a new spin on them. As a result, the audience for this play participates in a reshaping of six much-loved stories. In this new version of "Little Red Riding Hood," the big, bad wolf is an environmentalist who means no harm to anyone. Snow White stumbles into a cottage filled with computers. Rapunzel, an aspiring rapper, is a self-involved young woman who wants to impress a television audience. Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty duke it out for the one and only Prince Charming, a hapless young fellow. Goldilocks becomes Goldenlocks, a slick safecracker with nary a blond hair on his head, who finds himself sharing a jail cell with Papa Bear. And Jack of beanstalk fame struggles as his story is propelled by an increasingly demanding narrator. Throughout the show, members of the audience supply answers, produce sound effects, vote, and even join the actors on the stage to dance or to portray characters, both human and animal
