Playwright/Actor/Producer Brian Stanton was born and raised in Kansas City where he booked his first professional theatre gig in the 7th grade as Mike TeeVee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He received his BFA at Texas Christian University and his MFA at California Institute of the Arts. BLANK marks Brian's first turn as playwright. He has performed BLANK in Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Dallas, Kansas City, and Orlando garnering critical acclaim and awards along the way including BEST SOLO ACTOR at the United Solo Theatre Festival in NYC and an OUTSTANDING SOLO PERFORMANCE award for the 2009/2010 StageSceneLA awards in Los Angeles. BLANK is currently traveling and showing in public theatres as well as International Adoption Conferences. Outside of BLANK, Brian has made a career in the theatre as actor and producer in Southern California. Upcoming BLANK performance: June 2012 at The Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, CA. Also performing in Vancouver November 2012
