Past episodes of: ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL (BBC); SOLDIER SOLDIER (CENTRAL); HARRY (UNION Pictures/BBC); NO BANANAS (BBC): MEDICS (GRANADA); CASUALTY (BBC); STAYING ALIVE (LWT); the single film: the MOLD MURDERS (HTV Cymru). Film: Spec screenplays include: Period Drama: DYING FOR LOVE; HELL OF IT (Girls music biz buddy story) and BOTTLING the OCEAN-(Moving family Drama). Past options include: PURPLE HAZE (Awake Films LLC); FIVE MILLION DOLLAR BONE (Pippa Films). TUMBLING DICE. (Picmor Films); GREAT FIGHT AT THISTLETON GAP (TWI). And romantic comedy: LOVEHEART (Blanchard/ Brodin Films, LA). Consultancy: Sam has run workshops for Gauteng Film Office and Total Eclipse Films in Johannesburg, SA. Was visiting screenwriting lecturer at the International Film School of Wales and the European Film College in Denmark. He tutors TAPS' screenwriting courses and is a Trustee. He also ran NPA's "Ist draft feature" workshop He consults and doctors scripts for a wide range of companies and individuals, is on the Skillset Screen Academy of Wales liaison panel, the advisory panel for the Screenwriting Course at Bournemouth University and is a member of the WGGB film committee. In development: He is developing two original feature films: A mid West comedy: RHYTHM N GREENS and a Georgian bare knuckle epic: GENT. And Dramaturging: Alex Helfrecht's stage adaptation of Hemingway's the SUN ALSO RISES. Radio: BURTON (BBC Cymru); ALICE IN WONDERLAND.COM (BBC Education); PFLEGEFAL (Swiss and German radio) Other: Sam has directed more than 30 professional Theatre, musical and opera productions, produced two stage plays and very, very occasionally, acts.
