Gwendolyn Schwinke is a playwright, teacher and actor from Missouri who currently resides in New York. Her plays have been produced at Red Eye Collaboration and Cheap Theatre in Minneapolis, and developed at Seattle Repertory Theatre, Cherry Lane Theatre (NYC), Judith Shakespeare Company (NYC), the Playwrights' Center, & the Jungle Theatre in Minneapolis. Gwendolyn is a Core Member at the Playwrights' Center and a past recipient of the Center's Jones Commission. Her solo performance work has been produced by many Minneapolis venues including the Walker Art Center, Intermedia Arts Minnesota, Patrick's Cabaret and the Southern Theater. Her work has been published in three monologue books from Heinemann. She is a company member of Carlyle Brown and Company and has worked as an actress with Minneapolis Theatres including Frank Theatre, Cheap Theatre, Red Eye Collaboration, and with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Gwendolyn is also a Certified Feldenkrais Movement Teacher and Linklater Teacher Trainee.

Synopsis:
Vibrant free-verse lifts classic American themes to the heights of Greek Drama in this haunting play based on the myth of Isis and Osiris. As a flood of epic proportions descends on their rural farm community, four women discover that human connection is their only shelter against the storm.
