Eric is the creator and producer of Dread Awakening, for which he wrote the play Sleep Mask (dir. Amanda Charlton). He is the author of It's a Dry Heat, which is currently under option by Norman Twain, to be directed by Carolyn Cantor (Adam Rapp's Stone Cold Dead Serious). Other plays include his adaptation of Algernon Blackwood's the Wendigo, to be directed by Matt Hancock in the winter of 2006; Oceanside Parkway, which premiered this May at the American Place Theatre (dir. Steven Gillenwater); Ixomia, which will premiere this winter, directed by Stephen Brackett (Sequins for Satan); Faint, which Eric produced and directed at the 2003 New York International Fringe Festival; and the Hillside, which received a reading at Primary Stages in 2003 starring Frank Whaley (Swimming With Sharks) and Alison Pill (the LieutenANT of Inishmore). His one-acts and readings have been seen at the Williamstown Theatre Festival Workshop (Clancy & Yvonna, Relapsing Briefly, Dakota, and diet), the Ohio Theatre (the Baby Gap with the adobe Theatre company's 24 Hr. Play Project), the Galapagos Art Space, the John Houseman Studio Theatre, the American Place Theatre (with Studio 42 and Working Man's Clothes), the Irish Arts Center, the Marquee Theatre, and many others.

Faint

Part family tragedy, part vicious satire, "Faint" follows Jeromy, a young man whose life is becoming more and more like the circus he inherited. Heartless

Synopsis:
During a long and particularly cold Midwestern winter, Loomer, 25, loses his job, and begins to plunge deeply into an unimaginable abyss. His new girlfriend, Annie, desperately wants to leave town and 'start over'; but his best friend, Case, insists that he stay home and get mental treatment. these two conflicting forces ultimately drive him even further into his descent, resulting in a climax that unites the three of them in ways they never imagined.
