Erik Ransom is a composer, playwright, librettist and performer with a diverse body of work. He performs weekly in My Big Gay Italian Wedding and its funereal sequel. His first full- length musical, "Coming: A Rock Musical of Biblical Proportions was produced at The Prince Music Theatre in Philadelphia to rave reviews from The Huffington Post and The Philadelphia Inquirer. His new work "Grindr the Opera" will be presented in concert this Spring 2015.

Synopsis:
from the1937 futuristic novella about a world in which people are organized into something called The Grid, where individuality is eschewed for "the common good." That is, by all but a more thoughtful fellow named Prometheus and a group of anti-Grid rebels out to to topple the regime.
