As a high-energy writer, composer, director, vocal coach, singer, flautist, visual artist and active member of Actor's Equity Association, Bryan enjoys life in New York City where he works as a Artistic Director for his own production company, EMPYREproductions, LLC. Bryan has created and brought to life three fully scored, original musicals since 1998. MAnnekin, a musical fantasie in 1998, Trouble in Shameland in 2004 and 2006, and the Toy Maker in 2005-06. these works have not only met with critical acclaim, but more importantly, amazing community response. Having spent his entire adult life upon the theatrical stage, he has explored and studied every aspect of the business, artistic and technical, in order to create progressive and innovative productions. Whenever possible, he enjoys incorporating his love of puppets into his shows. His "Scrappers"have been seen in many incarnations both on and off the stage. Most recently he created Bertha and Clive, the spokes-puppets for Historic Thalian Hall's Cinematique Movie Series. His puppets for Trouble in Shameland (including a man-size bunraku-style Platypus named Pete) are some of his proudest artistic accomplishments. On stage Bryan has been seen by audiences all over the country in roles such as Adam in the National Tour of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Stephen Kodaly in She Loves Me, Dr. Neville Craven in the Secret Garden, Bobby in Company, Riff-Raff in the Rocky Horror Show and most recently, Dr. Parker in Bat Boy the musical. With two fledgling musicals in the works, ALONE and Ghost Train, he hopes to continue bringing to life vibrant, new works in an effort to keep this very crucial art form alive in this and future societies!
