Mike Poblete was born and raised in Brooklyn, Mike has lived in four countries, managed two Arts collaboratives and regularly teaches writing workshops. Full lengths include: Treading Water (Ireland, 2012), Antenora (Robert Moss Theatre, 2011), Flaccid Penis Seeks Vaginal Dryness (Dixon Place, 2011), the New York Monologues (Theatre For the New City, 2010) and Stoker (Ireland, 2009). Selected one acts staged in 2012: McRib McFlurry (Bar 82) and Dating Sucks (the Red Room). Mike has an MFA in Playwriting from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.

Synopsis:
This show is part of the Planet Connections theatre Festivity. Two ordinary men are ripped out of their lives and thrown into an anonymous prison where torture is part of life. This darkly comic but poignant work draws the audience in to share its thoroughly contemporary story of survival, companionship and imagination.
