Charlie Lavender - A Bankside Boy

Synopsis:
Based on a factual event, we trace the adventures of Charlie Lavender who breaks into Buckingham Palace in order to meet the Queen. Along the way, he unravels a plot to drive the Queen insane and manages to wreak havoc with the 'below stairs' staff. Eventually, Charlie is granted an audience with Victoria which has profound effects on both Queen and country.

Cracked Comic, The

Synopsis:
Dark comedy following the fortunes of Albert Collins and his girlfriend Gilda, both drug addicts and petty criminals. One night they go down to their local pub to score some drugs. It is a comedy night and Albert strays onto the stage for the open-mike spot. He reels off his repertoire of racist, sexist and homophobic jokes and totally wins over the 'politically correct' audience. Albert becomes an overnight sensation but just how long can he keep it up?

Jack and the Beanstalk

Synopsis:
Jack, a dim boy, sells the family's cow, their last remaining possession, for some 'magic beans', his mother is furious and throws them out of the window. Next morning there is a magic beanstalk, which Jack climbs to the land of the giant. There he rescues the love interest, and the goose that lays the golden eggs and runs away as the giant returns booming 'fee, fie, foe, fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman!' and occasionally 'Be he alive or be he dead I'll grind his bones to make my bread' depending on how bloodthirsty the panto is! As the giant follows Jack down the beanstalk Jack grabs an axe and chops it down thus killing the him.

Synopsis:
Inspired by the closing of the West End Synagogue in Soho's Dean Street in the late 1990s. In a West End synagogue three septuagenarians, Sophie, Hetty and Magda meet every Tuesday to play the card game Kaluki. Loretta, a youthful fortyseven-year-old, keeps the score. But all this is about to change when their synagogue is to be sold to a strip club owner. these intrepid ladies decide to take direct action and barricade themselves in their fated synagogue. Can they succeed or will their constant bickering put paid to their plan?
