Jiehae Park is a writer and actor in NY. Her play HANNAH & THE DREAD GAZEBO won the Princess Grace Award and Leah Ryan Prize in 2013, and was on the first annual Kilroys List. Her work has been produced or developed through the Cherry Lane Mentor Project, Yale Rep, Playwrights Horizons (currently commissioned), Soho Rep's W/D Lab, Berkeley Rep's Ground Floor, the Public's 2015 Emerging Writers Group, New York Theater Workshop, Dramatists Guild Fellowship, Ojai Playwrights Conference, Bay Area Playwrights Festival, 52nd Street Project, 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, & the amazing Ma-Yi Writers Lab. Residencies: MacDowell, Yaddo, & Hedgebrook. Proud facilitator for NYTW's Mind the Gap intergenerational playwriting workshop. Upcoming: world premiere of PEERLESS (Yale Rep) and reading of THE GOOD ONES (the Public), as well as performances with Tiny Little Band (actor, GHOST STORIES). As a performer: La Jolla Playhouse, NYTW, Studio Theatre, Prelude, REDCAT. BA (theater), Amherst College; MFA(acting), UCSD.

Synopsis:
Happy Moon Day, Holly Woo (3rd place winner, EWP Got Laughs Competition) It's been three months since Grace Kim ran away from Valhalla, Nebraska. To keep up his family's spirits, her husband Jonathan desperately declares every day a new holiday. At the local high school, recently acquired by soft-drink giant Cream Cola, the curriculum is undergoing a suspiciously corporate overhaul. Daughter Darlene thinks she has the solution to all their problems-adopt a homeless senior citizen to be their "New Grandma"-but the new addition has ideas of her own.

Synopsis:
Inside the FedEx box are two things: a 100% bona-fide-hearts-desire-level wish and a suicide note. Hannah tracks the package back to Korea, where her grandmother recently jumped from the roof of the Sunrise Dewdrop Apartment City for Senior Living onto the wrong side of the Demilitarized Zone. Oops.

Synopsis:
Asian-American twins M&L have given up everything to get into The College. So when D, a 1/16th Native American classmate, gets their spot instead, they figure theyve got only one option: kill him. A dark comedy about the very ambitious.
