Men without Shadows

Synopsis:
France, July 1944: the pro-Nazi Vichy government is still in power. An attic in an abandoned school holds six young resistance fighters waiting for their ordered execution. A floor below, their three executioners face imminent death from the approaching Allied forces. Neither side will escape. But this isn't about life and death, it's about winning the game. Written by Jean-Paul Sartre, one of the greatest minds of the twentieth century, Men Without Shadows is a rarely performed gem that will challenge the audience to consider what people are capable of once stripped of the things that make them human - freedom, dignity, even hope.
