Roderick worked as an actor in the UK and abroad, appearing in New York as Dr Grodin in AS THE WORLD TURNS. On returning to London he wrote and appeared in the very biographical comedy A FOOLISH FANCY (How not to get ahead in theatre), which was Time Out's Critics' Choice. Full length screenplays followed, including VALENTINE (romantic comedy road movie set in England and France), THE RIDING OFFICER (romantic period drama) and ALBERTOPOLIS (a modern romance intercut with a period thriller). KENSAL RISE is his first piece for television and he is also developing a television comedy about a karmically challenged yoga instructor searching for Ms Right.
