Mars Mraz  Mars Mraz is a playwright, composer, musician, filmmaker, designer and father. He was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from the University of New Mexico with an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing in the Spring of 2009. At UNM he studied with Digby Wolfe, Jim Linnell, Brian Herrera, Elanie Avila and Elana Greenfield. Mraz also studied playwriting in 2007 in Prague, Czech Republic with Steve Feffer through Western Michigan Universitys Prague Summer Program. Mraz is the co-author of the play for young audiences, Rosario & the Bull: A Musical in One Act (Heuer Publishing Co., 2009), and the writer/director of the short film, The Treehouse (Duke City Shootout, 2010). His selected productions include, Greek Row Tragedy, (UNM, 2009), The Big Come, (UNM, 2009), Lawrence Welk Visits a Colorado Coal Camp (Studio/Stage, Hollywood, CA. 2010), Little Red, (Tricklock Theatre Co., 2012) and Vampire Hamburger (Cardboard Playhouse, 2012). Mraz is a Composer and Theatre Artist in Residence at the Santa Fe Opera (Santa Fe, NM) and is the Music Director of Tricklock Theatre Co. (Alb. NM), and Company Member of Buran Theatre Co.
