Pinching For My Soul

Synopsis:
PINCHING FOR MY SOUL is a funny, soulful monologue, with a wicked political edge that is set in a department store. It is about three lost souls in the city of Dublin- a heroin addict, a security guard and a political wife under strain. Shania is a young junkie whose mum sends her out with a shopping list of things to rob. Chike, a black security guard from London, does his job really well but has to put up with racist treatment from his colleagues. Brona, the classic well heeled suburban housewife, who is married to a politician but is utterly dissatisfied with her life and marriage. As the play unfolds, we discover that these characters are a lot more complex than they appear, and the writer has a surprise in store for the audience.

We are delighted to receive information from users where our own research has been unable to locate details on the holder of a play's rights.doollee.com contains a comprehensive listing for each new play written in English produced by professional theatre companies, venues, festivals, commercial producers and once-off-producers from 1956 to the present.
