Born and raised in western Canada, Ginger Kearns is a multi-talented actor, writer and comedian. New York credits include: Sleep No More, The Sopranos and The Dave Chappelle Show. Writing credits: This is a Play About Artists (Best of Fringe 2013) Happiness is...Passed Out At The End Of The Bar" (pilot NYTVF). The Manitoba native is currently a resident artist at NYC based theatre company The Shelter, having studied acting at the prestigious American Musical & Dramatic Academy and following up with a minor in psychoanalytical film theory at The New School University. You can catch Ginger making jokes on the web and at Upright Citizens Brigade with her sketch group White Cotton Panties Comedy. Thank you to all the poets, authors, painters, comedians, and musicians that inspired me to write This is a Play About Artists. And to The Shelter for encouraging me to finish it. You are my home and I am forever grateful.
