A gifted comedy writer, Seamus Hilley is originally from Donegal in Ireland and is now based in London. His first script, MOONSTOMPERS won the Channel 4 Sitcom Competition and was showcased at the Riverside Sitcom Festival. Since then he has had scripts in development with LWT, Celador, Baby Cow and Red Productions. His original half-hour comedy drama AND KILL THEM, starring Alfie Allen and Warren Brown, was broadcast by Channel 4 in 2008. He has also been commissioned by Digital Bridges to provide online content in support of the ALI G film release. More recently Seamus was commisioned by Celador to co-write comedy drama Sand with Len Colin. He has also been commissioned by Free Range Films to write Vikings, currently shortlisted for the UK Film Council/Film 4 Cinema Extreme scheme. Together with writing partner Darren Ruddell, they have developed their most recent sitcom 'SPARKS' with Talkback Productions, who have pitched it to the BBC, and are writing their latest project: The King of Lynn.
