Storm Boy

Synopsis:
Twins aged 17, Alfie and William. Alfie has always wanted to work on the lifeboat - but as he was deprived of air when he was born so is not as bright as his brother. William gets the job. When the First World War breaks out William joins up. As there is no one else available Alfie gets the job and he loves it. William's ship is bringing him home and it is sunk. Alfie's lifeboat is launched to find survivors. By chance Alfie sees William in the water and jumps in to rescue him - he gets his brother to the lifeboat but through exhortation he slips under the waves and drowns
