Synopsis:
Les craves appreciation for his art, but his paintings hurt the eyes but people love his cooking and flock to his cafe/gallery. after Les turns up dead, he comes back as a ghost to solve his own murder. Was it his helium-breathed girlfriend who thought his art would be valuable once he died, or his lost-in-the-60s assistant cook who loves Les' girlfriend? Or was it Les' sister who never got any family love, or Les' feminist neighbor, torn by her love for him and who might have killed him to meet him in another life?

Synopsis:

It doesn't help that he's more than attracted to one of the women, who now gives him the cold shoulder. after his rival - in more than detective work - Roy Stonebraker turns up dead, Drake has to try to clear himself of murder charges as well as find the missing woman.
