Synopsis:
Between Two Worlds blends a romance as thrilling as a kiss on the cheek, from the time when women wore gloves and men opened doors, with a romping comedy a la the Marx Brothers, complete with witty word play, talking at crossed purposes, invisible characters, and frozen moments in time. Between Two Worlds is a simple romantic comedy that delves into the distinctly non-simple topic of life and death. . .and love. The old Hollywood-style plot is interwoven with a variety of dances, including a salsa-dancing American soldier, aerialist angels dangling from ropes and dancing with toy airplanes, and a romantic pas de deux, or two. The blatant theatricality of the Empty Space conjures the unexpected while inspiring imagination and hope.
