Douglas Clinton was born in rural Connecticut at the tail end of the disco erA. He attended Bishop Feehan High School in attleboro, Massachusetts, where he lettered in two sports and wrote, directed, and performed in several Spanish language films. Following high school, he spent his summers as a postal worker and studied Political Science in the Netherlands. During this time, he also wrote for the insanely popular yet tragically short-lived sketch comedy showMass HysteriA. His first three plays, The Life and Times of Princess Sophia, The Prophecy of the Shoe, and Princess Tabasco Saves the Universe all debuted in Hardwick, Vermont between 2002 and 2004. after college, he spent three years as a full-time volunteer, for which he was inducted into the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his cats H.I. and Ed(wina).

Life And Times Of Princess Sophia, The

Synopsis:
With the title character nowhere to be found, Princess Tabasco and her lady-in-waiting Saffron set off on an adventure to rescue Prince Gallant from the Evil Sorceress Nefaria. On the way, they join forces with an unlucky leprechaun, an unwicked witch, and a very unconvincing dragon. Will this band of fairy tale rejects be enough to stop Nefaria and her infamous harpies?

Princess Tabasco Saves The Universe

Synopsis:
Princess Tabasco decides to bail on her wedding to Prince Dashing, and instead rescue a mermaid who has been wrongly imprisoned in Doctor Diablo's Insane asylum. With the help of everyone from a sarcastic lady-in-waiting to a friendly troll, Princess Tabasco sets off on a journey fraught with danger, confusion, and unexpected romance.

Prophecy Of The Shoe, The

Synopsis:
after being shipwrecked, Princess Tabasco and her Lady-in-Waiting Saffron find themselves stranded in a strange land -- the Duchy of Lime. as they encounter an eclectic group of inhabitants (including two dueling narrators and an evicted mermaid, to name a few), they are swept up in an ancient prophecy compelling them to defend Lime from King Itch and the invading Frost Giants. Danger, magical creatures, and surprising twists abound in this witty new adventure tale.
