Eleanor's plays include THE NICETIES, START DOWN, CHILL, and THESE DYING GENERATIONS. Her work has been produced or developed at Manhattan Theatre Club, The New Group, New York Theatre Workshop, Ensemble Studio Theatre, the Alliance Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, the Contemporary American Theatre Festival, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Portland Stage Company, Centenary Stage Company, the Lark Play Development Center, the Kennedy Center/NNPN MFA Playwrights Workshop, Everyday Inferno, Ryder Farm and Luna Stage. Shes a current 2050 Fellow at New York Theatre Workshop and has been the recipient of the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Award, an EST/Sloan commission, a Keen Teens Commission, and the Susan Glaspell Award for Women Playwrights. She grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts, studied history at Yale College, and recently completed the M.F.A in Dramatic Writing at NYU/Tisch.

Synopsis:
On a Friday night in the Spring of 2001, four teenagers gather to hang out, blow off some steam, and avoid talking about their real feelings. Ten years later, in 2011, they reunite as grownups to try to do it all again.

Mocha

Synopsis:
When a film star arrives in Indonesia to adopt a baby, she attracts the interest of a journalist who questions her motivations, a bureaucrat who hopes to use her to publicize the islands, and a foster father who believes that her personal life leaves little room for a child. Meanwhile, an infertile American couple struggles through the traditional adoption process, which begins to reveal serious rifts in their dream of becoming parents together.

Niceties, The

Synopsis:
Zoe, a biracial student at a liberal arts college, is called into her white professor's office to discuss her paper about slavery's effect on the American Revolution. What begins as a polite clash in perspectives explodes into an urgent debate about race, history, and power.
