Holly And The Ivy, The

Holly And The Ivy, The
the Holly and the Ivy is set on Christmas eve and Christmas Day 1947 in cold, snowy weather. the setting is a vicarage with family and friends coming to visit for the festive period, bringing with them tensions and pent-up feelings that will break apart the warmth and comfort of the home. at the centre of all this is the widowed vicar, a man of beliefs and doubts, a scholar who isn't sure how good he is with people and finds out his shortcomings and strengths through his own family.
