Mark Borkowski's plays have won critical acclaim throughout the United States. Publications include: a Gravedigger's Tale (Smith & Krauss) Best of 2007 and Don't Listen To What It Sounds Like (Smith & Krauss) "Best Plays of 2006; 2 actors." He is the winner of the Playwrights Fellowship award from the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts. also a screenwriter, his award winning movie, the Perfect Witness (First Look Studios) was recently released on DVD worldwide. Mark lives in Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

Godling, The

Synopsis:
edvot, an ice-cold professional torturer, is hired to quell a rebellious carnival clown, but what he uncovers makes his own evil pale by comparison. after executing his grisly task, edvot discovers that his client -- a carnival showman with a taste for carnal excess -- is hiding a freakish horror beyond even a torturer's twisted imagination. edvot's journey through the carnival underworld ultimately forces him to confront his own monstrous nature and to decide what it really means to be human.

Head Hunter, The

Synopsis:
Casmir, a screenwriter, sells the exclusive rights of his screenplay to a sleazy Hollywood producer. He confesses what he has done to his cousin Salvatore, a henchman for the mob. the screenplay (a bio-pic) contains truths about Sal's Father that is more then incriminating. enraged, Salvatore wants to get the screenplay's rights back to Casmir even if it means marking the producer for death. the two cousins are forced to deal with issues that tore their family apart and drove them to be who they are; artist vs. ruthless killer.
