Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, USA, playwright-actor. anderson moved to Canada in 1977 and has since written and performed for theatres across that country. Four of his plays have been produced by North america's only horse-drawn outdoor theatre, the Caravan Stage Company. In 1984, Mr. anderson received both a Canada Council Grant for playwriting and a Jessie award nomination for best children's play.
