Chris is a full-time songwriter. He writes songs for musical theatre, cabaret and revue and hopes to make people laugh and cry. (He has definitely achieved the former - the latter is harder - but one singer at least claims to have cried in rehearsals over Chris' lyrics.) There is, Chris feels, something almost magical about the successful marriage of words and music - something quite distinct from music alone, poetry or prose.

Synopsis: | Celebrity Sanctuary is down on its luck formerly a retreat for A list celebs at present it only has two clients , the owner and her PA. They get a call from an agent for "Victoria" he is checking her in under the name of Mrs Smith - and they expect all the facilities that the Sanctuary used to supply. Then a workman makes a mistake when digging up the road and the local old peoples home is left with water and electricity. The old folk are moved into the Sanctuary - where the solution to the problem is found - they can act as staff and clients! | |||||
