Set in present and past times, it is a funny story of working class friendship and community: Auf Wiedersehen, Pet with balls! Around 4,500 people attended the premiere run in Durham and the show transferred to Newcastle's Theatre Royal in May 2010 where it was directed by Andrew Lynford and received standing ovations. The show also starred the North East's own TV football superstar Jeff Stelling, whose hilarious television appearance was brilliant.
