Glen Williamson, actor, storyteller and writer, currently plays multiple roles in the touring Anthropos productions of The Gospel of John and The Refugees' Tale (based on Goethe's Green Snake parable) as well as the title role in Aeschylus Unbound, which Glen co-wrote with the late film star Mala Powers. Glen has performed his own one-man plays, Beat the Devil!(aka The Tragedy of Mephistopheles), The Incarnation of the Logos and Kaspar Hauser: The Open Secret of the Foundling Prince, as well as Kurt Vonnegut's The Kid Nobody Could Handle and Who Am I This Time? throughout North America and in Europe. Other appearances include Rudolf Steiner's The Souls' Awakening and the award-winning off-Broadway run of Glen's one-man play The Boy Who Saw True. A founding member in New York City of The Actors' Ensemble and New Directions Theater, he appeared in numerous productions with both companies. He trained in the Michael Chekhov acting technique and at The Juilliard School and has acted with the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and the American Stage Festival in New Hampshire.

Synopsis:
An exhilarating romp through Goethes theatrical masterpiece about heaven, hell and a battle for the soul of a man searching for truth, satisfaction . . . and a Goddess.

Notes:
Glen Williamson began telling the whole story of Goethes Faust (under the title The Tragedy of Mephistopheles) in 1999, at the request of the New York Branch of the Anthroposophical Society, in honor of the 250th anniversary of Goethes birth. This solo epic-storytelling performance has appeared throughout North America and Britain and in Europe. Glen continues to perform Beat the Devil!, touring widely, and is available to perform it in theaters, churches, schools and universities
