Synopsis: | Baz (Full name Basildon after the town where his mother first met his father) is not the most gifted or popular child in his school - in fact if it wasn't for bad luck he wouldn't have any luck at all. However, when he finds a Tamagotchi things definitely take a turn for the better - all of a sudden he's a mathematical genius! But at what cost? When his school enters him into the popular television quiz 'What's your number?' the tamagotchi shows itself in an entirely different light. World Domination? Don't be silly -.or maybe? Find out in Mrs Jessop and the Math's lesson of Doom. Based on the mathematics curriculum for Primary Schools, it explores number patterns, mental calculations and deduction. It's pitched somewhere in the middle of Key Stage 2, so should work well as an introduction for year four children or as revision for those in year six. | |||||
