Synopsis: | Alan Granger, an aristocratic recluse, invites his old school chums to his country estate for a rare dinner party. After they polish off dessert, he tells them that one of their dishes was poisoned. The problem is, he doesn't know whose dish it was - it may even have been his. He only knows that someone in the room has an hour to live. Alan then produces a single vial - the antidote. It can help exactly one person, he says, but must be consumed before the poison takes effect. As the seven of them debate who should get the vial, they peel away polite exteriors and reveal their true characters - along with some long-hidden secrets. | |||||
