Playwright working in theatre, film and radio. His latest play, The Gold Killing, a two-part BBC Radio 4 drama, was broadcast on 4 July 2015 and was 'Drama of The Week'. A new stage play The Night was written in 2015 with Arts Council funding and support from Farnham Maltings and Jerwood. The Moonflask, a 60-minute play, was broadcast in 2013 and again on Easter Saturday 2014 on BBC Radio 4. The Takeover (BBC Radio 3) was nominated for the Prix Europa, Berlin 2012 and shortlisted for the Imison award (2013). The film version of the stage play 2Graves premiered at the Genesis Cinema, Whitechapel for the EEFF '13. Previous commissions have included the National Theatre (Studio), BBC Radio Drama, Film 4 & Warp x Films. Plays have been produced in many overseas countries and in the UK with two recent transfers to London's West End (The Arts and Trafalgar Studios respectively) with further plays developed &/or produced at theatres including the Bush, the National Theatre Studio, Soho Theatre, the Live Theatre, Newcastle, the Old Vic, the BAC & in Edinburgh at theatres Assembly Rooms and the Pleasance. Recent work has won a Curtain Call award in Australia, a Jury prize at the ITSELF festival in Warsaw. The Bedsit is published by Faber and Faber and 2Graves, The Dead Move Fast, The Man who fell out of Bed & Worlds End are all published by Oberon Books.

2 Graves
A bloody tale of murder, revenge and retribution. Bobby Topps is riding on the crest of a wave, poised to take the crown at the 1978 World Professional Darts. Only now he's dead. His son, Jack, sets out to avenge those whom he believes are responsible for his father's downfall as life turns him from adoring son to hard-bitten criminal, condemned to forever re-live his own cruel violence.

Audit, The

Bedsit, The

Synopsis:
A middle-aged Ulsterman sits in his dingy bedsit contemplating a bloodspot painting which dominates the wall. Clutching his Bible, he reflects on his shadowy past. It is not long before his lodger and a new person arrive and it becomes clear what they want. A short, sharp, surreal drama which explores the terror of bring the hunter and the hunted.

Part of Time Out Critics Choice season Cast included James Ellis. Produced by BAC and then by the Assembly Rooms Edinburgh. The play was first presented in an earlier version at the Tabard Theatre, Chiswick.
