Stained Glass

Synopsis:
Stained Glass is a Psycho-dramedy about four men-less women who continue to share their triumphs and tragedies at the gathering of their weekly color therapy session. On the surface it would appear that these women have very little in common other than being minus a man but as the play progresses we'll see their life altering parallels. the story follows Karla's intellectual approach on healing, spirituality and recovery. the focus turns on a dime from one woman to the next each vying for the insight of the moment. the colors do indeed paint this session when these four distinct personalities mix it up. they challenge themselves, they challenge each other, they yell, they curse, they blame, push and cry. the turn of events and the form of the play allow for not only each woman to be the subject of discussion but for each to also play therapist in an ever quickening progression that ultimately peaks with the confessing and simultaneous cleansing of Karla guided by the soothing Rain.
