Paul Ledoux is one of the most produced creators of musical Theatre in Canada and has had 37 plays produced in Canada and abroad. He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and began his theatrical career in Montreal where his play the electrical Man won the QDF award in 1975. Other works included the musicals; Dream a Little Dream (with Denny Doherty) (multiple Dora Nominations) the musicals Cheatin' HeArts (with David Smyth), Hot Flashes, (with John Roby), Judy! (Dora and Jessie nominee), Honky Tonk angels (with Ferne Downey), Love Is Strange and the Dora, Betty and Chalmers award winning Fire (with David Young). He has also adapted the novels the Secret Garden (Chalmers award nominee) and Anne of Green Gables for the stage. Tyrants a Drama about the family of John Wilkes Booth is his most recent production. Plays in development include the musicals Still Desire You with Juno award winning songwriter Melanie Doane and Paris before the Crash with John Roby. In addition to his work as a playwright Ledoux has worked as an artistic director Dramaturge, story editor and producer. He has written extensively for series TV, including the Pit Pony (supervising producer) Freaky Stories and Street Legal, plus the seasonal special, Johann's Gift To Christmas. Radio Drama credits include his series, Salvage, In the Blood , and the Old Guy(WGC award nominee) . Directing credits include: Dream a Little Dream in Toronto (Dora nominee), Judy at the Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon, and productions of Salt Water In Your Socks, Me and My Gals and It's Delicious at the White Point Theatre. Paul is the past Chairman of the Playwrights Union of CanadA.

Chasin' Broadway Flo
