"I write for film/tv/theater: As a playwright, I've been produced in a number of places domestically and internationally. I've won a few awards, including the EST Next Step Fellowship, the Walter Dakin Fellowship at the Sewanee Writers Conference, the Hamptons Film Festival's screenwriting conference, the Playwrights Center/Guthrie Theater's Two-Headed challenge, and the 25th Annual Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Awards. Currently, I'm partnering with David Murrell (my frequent collaborator) and director Jo Bonney to adapt the best seller Lifespan of a Fact to the stage." (2015)

Sweet, Sweet Motherhood

Synopsis:
the play is the hybrid child of its own experiment, the Two-Headed Challenge, where the Guthrie theater and the Playwrights Center commissioned playwright Jeremy Kareken to collaborate on a play with molecular biologist Lee M. Silver, author of the controversial Challenging Nature and Remaking eden: How Genetic engineering and Cloning Will Transform the American Family. Shelley has plans to improve her GPa, plans that offend God, nature and Professor Henry Stein.
