Breaking Through

Synopsis:
BREAKING THROUGH is told through the eyes of a young, talented singer/songwriter, as she tries to navigate the treacherous shark-filled waters of the music business. She embarks on a compelling journey to find her way back to her authentic self and in the process rediscovers the music that truly makes her alive. BREAKING THROUGH features a score by Emmy award-winning songwriter and producer Cliff Downs ("The Voice," "American Idol,"), and Katie Kahanovitz (Girls Night Out Pop Radio), with a book by Kirsten Guenther (Mrs. Sharp, 2008 Richard Rodgers Award-winner; the upcoming Benny and Joon). Out Of My Head, A Musical Revue

Synopsis:
Out Of My Head is a compelling new musical from Ryan Scott Oliver, recipient of the American Theatre Wing's Jonathan Larson Grant and the prestigious Richard Rodgers Award for Musical Theatre. Five 20-something strangers bare their hearts and souls as they journey through their lives, loves, and losses during a series of free group therapy sessions. From the moment of their breakdowns to their ultimate breakthroughs, the smart and emotional interplay of these quirky characters brings them all the self-discovery to set aside their insecurities and face the world anew-a little less frightened and a little more brave than before. This fresh and contemporary chamber musical celebrates the amazing strength of the human spirit.
