Coosje

Synopsis:
Coosje is the story of two artists, husband and wife, finding their playful aesthetic together. the show is an artistic representation of the collaborative world of sculptors Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. Coosje is not a realistic portrayal of the artists, but a whimsical look at collaboration and love. We see Claes and Coosje meet, marry, create art together and, when Coosje becomes ill, escape into the fantastical world they have spent their lives creating. This journey is paired beautifully with the heroic quest of the singing Pear, who has gained consciousness and seeks to discover her purpose. the Pear travels the world searching for the meaning of life; she refuses to believe that being someone's snack is all there is to it.

Oregon Trail, The: Quest For the West!

Synopsis:
the Oregon Trail: Quest for the West! is an interactive musical comedy about five brave pioneers as they journey westward to fulfill their manifest destiny. Join Jebediah and his sister Hope as they assemble a wagon party and "take up stakes" from Independence, Missouri in search of a better life in Oregon. their perilous journey has them singing across uncharted territory - comically crossing dangerous rivers, hunting buffalo, outsmarting thieves and battling dysentery. the Oregon Trail: Quest for the West! is a look at the strength and bravery it takes to travel into the unknown. although the goal for our pioneers is clear, the musical calls into question if we ever really arrive at a final destination. the show actively explores Manifest Destiny and what this goal-oriented philosophy has done to shape the Americans way of life. the audience plays an active role, helping make key decisions in this choose-your-own-adventure style show. a handsome trail guide helps the audience through the Wild West, supplies them with the necessary hunting tools and tallies their score at the end of the musical to see where they rank next to past audiences. This is a musical. . .it is also a game.
