Islands In the Stream

Synopsis:
A magical flux of images, movement, sound and light that conjures up the universal wonder of the sea. Sailors, gulls, ships, and sea monsters are brought to life as cartoon-like nautical comedy mixes with hints of the mystery and danger that lies beneath the waves. A shimmering cinematic vision that sets the dazzling physical skill of the performers of Derevo against a sometimes beautiful, sometimes terrifying soundtrack by Russian composer Roman Dubinnikov.
