BeRTRaND PRIeST, first prize winner of the 2006 Kaufman & Hart award for New American Comedies. the world premiere of LeNNY & LOU was September 2004 at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre in Washington, D.C. and was nominated for the Charles Macarthur award for Best Play and Best Resident Play as part of the Helen Hayes awards. the play was also nominated for the American Theatre Critic's association's annual aTCa/Steinberg New Play award. New York premiere, February 2006 at 29th St. Rep. VaTTaGO was a finalist at PlayLabs, the Playwrights Center in 2005 and is now in development at the Lark Play Development Center. GOD's CReaTUReS was a semi-finalist in the Stageplays' International Playwrights Competition. GOING, a one-act, was a semi-finalist in the Chutzpah Festival and will be published by Playscripts, Inc. in 2006. FaNTaSY was presented august 2000 by the Workshop and is now a film, co-directed by the author for Blatantly Subtle Productions. Ian is an artistic associate at the Lark Play Development Center.

Going

Synopsis:
When Alex learns his mother's health is slipping, he takes his wife and two young sons on a harried subway ride from their Manhattan apartment to Brooklyn. Upon their arrival, they find alex's fragile sister on the brink of a breakdown herself: she informs him that their mother hasn't eaten in days and insists on staying in bed. the worried family scrambles to help her, even calling an ambulance that she refuses to ride in, until an eMS supervisor puts his finger on the real problem and gets the matriarch of the family up on her feet and back into her life in this honest and humorous look at the way families work.

Synopsis:
Lenny is a middle-aged wannabe rock star with zero talent. Lou, his younger brother, is a lonely accountant who hasn't had a date in fifteen years. and their wildly inappropriate mom, Fran, is permanently stuck in a senior moment.
