108 Waverley

Synopsis:
108 Waverley Place Greenwich Village. An intertwined story of two gay couples who have lived in the apartment. 1928 Brian a school teacher lives there alone. He is from the South and was sent away to private school when his parents realised he was gay. He has fallen in love with Matthew a banker teller. Matthew still lives with his parents. Brian is trying to convince Matthew to leave his parents and move in with him - but this is a big step. In 1998 Robby and Wei live there. Wei is keen to adopt but Robby is ambivalent - and how will people treat gay dads?

Synopsis:
The evening of May 27th 1995 - four entwined stories. The first out couple at a High School have been allowed to go to the Prom as a couple as long as they do not dance together. In a club in Providence two airmen on active service are trying to pick each other up without letting on they are gay. At a wedding party the DJ has asked all couples to join the bride and groom in their first dance. An elderly gay couple try to decide what to do. In a male strip bar a fifty something recently divorced and recently out man meets a hustler

When same sex marriages were first legal in California long term partners Ned and Will decide that they will not do it. Now Proposition 8 has come in stopping all such marriages. Timekeepers, The

Synopsis:
In a concentration camp a Jewish prisoner sits in a small room repairing watches and clocks taken from the Nazi's gas chamber victims. He is given an assistant a gay man who had claimed he could repair watches so that he would not be sent to the cement factory. at first they barely speak. the Jewish man does not like homosexuals and is very wary of his new assistant. they find that they both have a love of opera. they hear through the Capo who is in charge of them that there is to be a visit by the Red Cross and that prisoners will put on a concert for the visitors. they both practice but the visit is cancelled. Hans, the gay prisoner has been obtaining extra bread by giving sexual favours to one of the guards and Benjamin, the Jewish prisoner asks him to find out what happened to his family. When he hears that his favourite child - his daughter is dead he looses control and smashes one of the watches. When the Capo asks who did it Hans confesses that he had. the Capo then forces Hans to have sex with him. It is during this that Hans discovers that the Capo has a gun. Time passes and it is decided that there is only enough work for one prisoner - so one will have to be sent to the gas chamber. the Capo makes Benjamin & Hans decid who it will be. However, Hans overpowers the Capo and takes the gun. they exchange clothes and Hans escapes dressed as the Capo.

A gay white man who is in the closet agrees to visit an Afro-American man in hospital. The man is a drugs dealer and dying from an AIDS related disease. They are from completely different worlds but strike up a bond
