Gym Party

Synopsis:
From the hot young company (Guardian) that sold out the National theatre in 2012: a razor sharp, slightly dark three-way battle to the death, and hilariously confused call-to-arms. Gym Party is an epic tale of hopeless determination: the brilliant, terrible, universal human desire to win, and go on. Anarchic, comic and thoughtful, it speaks to anyone who frets about the state of the world, then gets distracted by a dumb celebrity tweet. Not since Forced Entertainment burst on to the scene almost 30 years ago has a company arrived with such a fully formed and distinctive voice. (Guardian).

This is How We Die

This is How We Die
Tales of paranoia, young love and ultra-violence. . .a spiralling odyssey of pitch-black humour and nightmarish prose. . .Savage, surreal, hypnotic and apocalyptic, THIS IS HOW WE DIE blends spoken word, storytelling, caustic humour and gutter philosophy into a dizzying exorcism of a world that is convinced it is dying. With echoes of Lenny Bruce, William Burroughs, beat poetry and B-movies, THIS IS HOW WE DIE is a prime slice of surrealist trash and a blood-soaked love letter to the depraved, the depressed and the death-obsessed.

We Hope That You're Happy (Why Would We Lie?)

Synopsis:
Jess and Chris claim to be lifelong friends. But they also claim each other are liars. And that they are eyewitnesses to the majority of the key world events of the last hundred years. We Hope That You're Happy (Why Would we Lie?) is a hilarious and unsettling examination of what it means to be a tuned in, delusional and unwitting consumer in a hyper communicative world. Flat-out, unhinged and strangely normal, featuring a cooler full of beer and icecream, a preposterous repeated dance routine, two kilos of flour. . . and a lot of ketchup.
