Jessica Abrams is a graduate of Barnard College where she majored in French literature and the Kennedy Center Playwriting Intensive. She is a playwright, television writer, storyteller and actress. Her plays have had productions and readings in various Los Angeles venues, with The Laughing Cow receiving Pick of The Week by LA Weekly. It is now published in Off The Wall Plays. Happy Returns was a finalist for Actors Theatre of Louisville's Heideman Award. In addition to performing storytelling events, she writes dance reviews for ExploreDance.com. Her most recent project is KNOCKING ON DOORS (www.knocking-on-doors.com), a web series she wrote, directed and starred in. She also teaches a writing and acting workshop.
