21CRT
Heuer Publications:

Twenty-first Century Radio Theatre is based on television and radio shows produced by Liars Holographic Radio Theatre" (www.liarstheatre.com). 21CRT is a form of performance that transcends the boundaries between genres. It is based more on the future of storytelling and less on the traditions of radio theatre established during the early 20th century. This is the first release in a series of episodes that will include comedy and satirical skits with spurious sponsors and occasional heart-tugging fictional stories and poems. Each episode stands on its own like a collection of short stories but almost always the episodes feature the same memorable characters. Some segments work best with script in hand, while other segments are best presented off book. You choose the tunes that you think best support the segments of the show: reggae, punk, big band, country, polka or create original music throughout. Flexible cast from 3 to 27, most of the roles could be played by two versatile actors. All of these pieces were first presented with the same two actors. No costuming, no technical lighting, no sets, and minimal rehearsal time in this live variety show of spectacular wonderment. Mature content may be edited as necessary.

Annoyed By Life
Heuer Publications:

In Annoyed By Life, everybody is a little annoyed about something - mostly their inability to find love. These anxious urbanites deal with endless annoyances such as dating services, yapping poodles, unrequited love, inappropriate hairpieces, and grandmothers who dont know if they are alive or dead. In tone and style, Annoyed By Life has a lot in common with sketch comedy - the first few scenes introduce a variety of seemingly unrelated characters in some ridiculous situations. However, all the plots eventually come together in unexpected ways as the show progresses, with hilarious results. This play features anywhere from three women and two men playing multiple characters to ten women and nine men.

The Education of Angels
Heuer Publications:

Two unlikely characters are thrown together in this hilarious and somewhat whimsical tale of two angels in training. Nick and Jenna are sent back to Earth to help Dave, who is having "cold-feet" on the day of his wedding. The resolution is circuitous and definitely poignant, as the three bumble their way into a happy ending. Toss in an "angelic" New York cabbie as transportation from heaven, a domineering ex-wife who has remarried, but believes that Dave shouldn't, a kindly minister, a daughter and the fact that not everyone can see the angels......and comedic situations ensue. Ah yes, the heart of the play. Well, lets just say that you will enjoy this journey and be moved by its ending.
