Born in Detroit, raised in Montreal, and trained in theatre there, in London (UK) and Toronto, Bill Zaget is an actor (as Zag Dorison), writer, and performance-poet. He has won a couple awards for his stage plays-"Feathers" and "Landspit". His show, "Rarebit Fiends" was one of the hits of the Edmonton Fringe Festival, and it was also performed at the Fringe of Toronto. His solo show, "Renfield or, Dining at the Bughouse" played at the Montreal Fringe Festival and the prose version off his one-man show, appeared in the anthology, Dracula in London, edited by P.N. Elrod, Ace Books, New York. Since then, he has also focused on writing short dark fiction, and is presently working on a novel or two. For his "day-job", Bill assists in the co-ordination and administration of the Creative Writing Program at the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto.
