Affairs

Synopsis:
There is no such thing as Safe Sex. The myth is, that passion is crimson and sex is white-hot. But there are other colours too. Like the mustard of self-loathing and the puce of cheap perfume. In this show, you get to see every colour, except pink. An intelligent, urbane look at the nature of desire, told by a woman who has been there, bought the T-shirt and had it stolen. A cautionary tale for anyone who has ever been tempted. And yes, that does mean you.

Crush

Synopsis:
Rob researched Crush by spending ten years in a catty office, full of growling sexual subtext. the play tells the story of Johnny and his doomed crush on Celia, the office bitch. the trouble is, she's shagging Nudds, a man whose voice is so smooth, he can wriggle his tongue between two coats of paint. And that is where the story ends. Until. . . click, click, click. . . in minces Laura, in killer heels. As Bitch 2.0, Laura makes Celia look like an amateur. What starts out as handbags at dawn, soon descends into a filthy labyrinth where life itself hangs in the balance, culminating in a victorian theatrical spectacle of literally breathtaking proportions. For Crush, think crisp white blouses, an office tango and a flirt to the death.

Man with the Absurdly Large Penis, The

Synopsis:
Size really does matter in Rob Young's monologue about a man from south London who is suffering from Proteus syndrome. John Dixon is ordinary in every way - in his desires, his needs, his everyday concerns. But his penis is 102cm long, contains almost three litres of blood and comprises 50% of his body weight. the stirring of an erection starves his brain of oxygen, causing near-fatal blackouts. For John the orgasm is not a little death but the big one. In the circumstances, John is not a man to rub up the wrong way. He censors every aspect of his life to avoid erotic stimulation but cannot censor his need for love. Reading the small ads in Loot is awild thrill for John. then he meets Ruth, a tart with a heart from Stockwell, who takes one look at what's in John's shopping trolley and whisks him off to Hastings, whereJohn gets that floating feeling that means it must be love.
