Price of our Happiness

Synopsis:
Arman, Director-manager of the theatre group of town hal in a little suburban city around Paris, decides to put on scene, with the help of all members of his family including his children's friends, a play about Israeli-Palestinian problem in a frank and staightfoward way. At first everybody, especially the children (the daughter, a lawyer, and the son, a very successful theatre director) are very enthusiasts, but as the play goes on, they begin to realize the menaces and even the dangers hidden in such a play for their carriers. Arman, using all reasons and even some theatrical tricks, succeeds to convince them of righteousness of the work. However, he hasn't realised the decisive role of his wife, who, in order to preserve her chidren from the disastrous impacts of staging such a play, threatens Arman to reveal his short and long forgotten episode of adultry if he insists to continue with the work. For Arman, who is at the same deeply ingaged in his play and highly anxious to preserve his proper image of a devoted father, remains no other alternative but to disapear from the scene...
