AARON L WRIGHT

Nationality:    African American

Literary Agent:    n/a

Aaron L. Wright is the writer and director of the new stage play, A Teenage Love. Aaron graduated from William Penn High School in New Castle, DE, earned his bachelors degree from Penn State University, and his masters degree from Wilmington University. Currently, Aaron is a 7th grade English teacher at Penn Wood Middle School in Darby, PA. In addition to educating his students and being involved with his school, he enjoys pursuing his dream of being an entertainment writer. Aaron has written well over 30 plays to date, yet A Teenage Love is his third produced show, followed behind Youll Never Understand my Praise and What the Church Doesnt Know. Before A Teenage Love came into existence, Aaron generally wrote and directed spiritual and inspirational stage plays. Though spreading the message of Gods love is vital to him, he decided after going through two years of a writers block, that he would redefine his purpose for writing. People often say write what you know and experience. With that in mind, Aaron realized that much of time is spent with teenagers and with fighting the good fight in the educational field. Thus, his writers block ended a few months ago when he decided to focus his attention and write about what he saw daily just by being an educator. . .the teenage experience. Many of todays youth are going through various systems and are faced with so many distractions in this malicious world that they are limited in their understanding of self. Thus, Aarons newfound objective for writing is to help teenagers find their voice and ultimate purpose in life through the use of fictional characters whose story speak to the reality for many of todays teens
