Born in Armstrong, BC, Dorothy has an M. A. in Theatre Performance from Simon Fraser University. A performer, writer, teacher and producer of theatre, she has bumped around rural BC, a hippy in a van, with the Marvelous Masquers and performed political satire to 20,000 with the Escape from BC Place improv review. Influenced by early teacher J. Garrard and his "theatre of survival", Dorothy continues to be involved in projects that defy categorization. She currently works with Lizanne Fisher helping communities of all kinds tell the stories of their everyday heroes and heroines through installation type events
